Sure, there are trouble spots in the economy, as the government takeover of mortgage giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, and jitters about Wall Street firm Lehman Brothers, amply demonstrate. And unemployment figures are up a bit, too. None of this, however, is cause for depression...

Its wonderful seeing all the rich people telling the folks in Ohio and Illinois losing their homes and getting kicked out of their apartments at no fault of their own how great the economy is. Obama really needs to get the message out in places like the upper Midwest where the mortgage failure has hit the hardest that McCain doesn't even think there's a problem on this issue, and that the republicans consider them whiners.
